Awards Determined by 2nd Review at the Annual Conference 
           

Professional - Faculty
Lectra Outstanding Faculty Modaris Award.  This award is in the Professional Division at the ITAA Annual Meeting (Value approximately $3,000). The winner must use Modaris Classic 2D V7R2 or Modaris 3D V7R2. Screen shots should accompany the submitted garment for review by the Judges and Lectra. The winner will allow Lectra to use the materials submitted in order to develop a press release on the winner and show visuals in the release. A winner and a runner-up will be selected. In the event the winner does not use the award as specified by Lectra USA, Inc., the runner-up will be offered the award.

 

Lectra Kaledo Award for Faculty.  This award is for the use of Kaledo Style and Textile Suite: Knit, Print or Weave, to support the development of the final design. (Value $1000 for the award)  Screen shots should accompany the submitted garment for review by the Judges and Lectra. The winner will allow Lectra to use the materials submitted in order to develop a press release on the winner and show visuals in the release.

 
ATEXINC Award for Excellence in Marketable Textile Design ($400)
 
Cotton Incorporated Innovations in Cotton Design Award, Professional Level ($1,000 and $500) -- designs that demonstrate the most creative/innovative use of cotton; must be at least 60% cotton to be eligible
 
Sandra Hutton Award for Excellence in Fiber Arts ($300) 
 
ESRAP (Educators for Socially Responsible Apparel Practices) Award for Sustainable Design (Certificate) -- excellence in design development that is focused on issues of sustainability, through the selection of materials, processes, and outcomes.  This may include sustaining and improving the well being of people, the processes that enhance sustainability, and design choices that sustain the environment.  
 
ITAA Award for Innovative Design Scholarship ($300) -- innovative design with a focus on design scholarship
 
ITAA Award for Creative and Innovative Employment of Technique(s) ($300) --techniques used (patternmaking, draping, surface design, and/or construction, etc.) introduce something new and/or challenge conventions or established methods
 
 
 
Graduate

Lectra Outstanding Graduate Student Kaledo Award. (Best Use of Kaledo)  (Value $500 for the award)   One winner will be chosen for the outstanding use of the Kaledo Textile Suite. The winner must use a Kaledo Textile Suite: Knit, Print or Weave to support the development of the final design. Screen shots should accompany the submitted garment for review by the Judges and Lectra.

Claire Shaeffer Award for Outstanding Marketable Design ($250) -- for entry in the Mass Market Level of Production
 
Eden Travel International Award (2 Week Internship with Zandra Rhodes) -- recipient should have ability and desire to participate in the 2 week internship
