Clothing and Textiles Research Journal (CTRJ) aims to be the journal of choice among scholars studying clothing, textiles, and related topics across the discipline. The journal publishes impactful scholarship that shapes the discipline. As the official journal of International Textile and Apparel Association Inc, it is peer-reviewed and is published quarterly. CTRJ publishes articles in the following areas:
Clothing and Textiles Research Journal is the official publication of the International Textile & Apparel Association, Inc. Submissions undergo a double blind, peer review process using
Sage Publications' Manuscript Central. ITAA is a professional, educational association composed of scholars, educators, and students in the textile, apparel, and merchandising disciplines in higher education.
This journal is a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

CTRJ Involvement Opportunities
Reviewer. CTRJ reviewers are volunteers who have been recommended by the Editors or who have applied to be a reviewer. Reviewers are required to have a terminal degree and show evidence of some experience as a scholar. For more information and application requirements: Reviewer Application CTRJ
Editorial Board. CTRJ Editorial Board (EB) members are experienced reviewers who have been identified by the Editors, VP of Publications, or who have applied to the Board. EB members commit to reviewing a minimum of three new manuscripts annually. The EB is a three-year term of service that can be renewed more than once. Associate Editor. CTRJ associate editors (AE) work directly with the Editor-in-Chief to accomplish the review process in their area of expertise. AEs have significant experience as authors and reviewers, preferably with CTRJ. AEs are volunteers who have applied or have been recommended to apply by the Editors or VP of Publications to fill vacancies in AE tracks. Term of service is three years with opportunity for renewal. Focus Issue. A Focus Issue is composed of manuscripts that address a topic of current interest. A Focus Issue proposal may be solicited by the Editors, Editorial Board, Publications Policy Committee, VP of Publications, or submitted by individuals or groups. As the Focus Issue proposers become Guest Editors, they should have significant experience as authors and reviewers, preferably with CTRJ.
